We're Nutrition Outlet, and we've been the premier nutrition shop here in Muscatine, IA, since 2000. We believe in finding the cause of our client's ailments, getting to the root cause, and helping them build a healthy lifestyle, and we offer nutritional supplements, vitamins, protein powder and shakes, essential oils, and much more. Shelly Meier N.D., is a Traditional Naturopath and Certified Aromatherapist. She has a strong passion for teaching her clients how to get and stay healthy and feeling good, naturally. Teaching her clients how to feel better using natural medicine, then seeing them take control of their health, and feel better using naturopathic principals, is the most rewarding thing she has ever done. She loves her work; "I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. I was born for this!" - Shelly Meier

The approach that she uses in her practice is finding the root cause of the problem, then by supporting the mind, the body and the spirit, so that natural healing and true wellness can be achieved. Specializing in aromatherapy and Bach flower therapy for emotional balancing, homeopathy, adaptogens, whole food and herbal supplementation, detoxification, immune modulation therapies. She also uses iridology, ZYTO bioenergetic scanning, muscle response testing and pH balancing with her clients. She is a certified ShapeReclaimed practitioner and Certified in Reiki I,II,and Master.

A typical wellness consultation with Shelly takes between 2- 3 hours, although she does offer an abbreviated version which is only one hour long. It is a deep dive into everything about you. You will be talking about your mind, body and spirit. Suggestions will be made on building a naturally healthy lifestyle, using healthy foundations with diet, exercise, water intake, lifestyle changes, supplementation, detoxification, as well as recommendations for other modalities of treatment that fall under the natural health umbrella.
